A Site Visit To ENASCO – Enyimba Antomated Shoe Company

ENASCO is an automated shoe factory, indigenous to the Nigerian people and market. It is situated at the heart of Aba, in Abia State, Nigeria.

With it’s automation and quality of machines assembled in the company’s factory, it is positioned to break limits and produce alternative to imported foreign shoes.

The factory has an installed capacity to produce 5,000 pairs of shoes daily which translates to about 2 million pairs of shoes annually.

Amazing right?

This is indeed one of it’s kind in the Nigerian Footwear Industry.

Meanwhile, The Footwear Academy key team members paid a courtesy visit to the site of the Enyimba Automated Shoe Factory.

The M.D and the PR Officer, Mr Kito Dominic and Mr Esiaba Charles, gave them a tour round the factory. The team was impressed at the machine and equipment assembled at the factory.

Furthermore, The Academy is discussing possible ways of working together with the company.

One of them is initiating an Internship program for the students and Alumni of the Academy. A great opportunity to have hands on deck practicals at the factory to gain industrial experience.

The Nigerian Footwear Industry is indeed developing massively and we are proud to be a part of this change.

We look forward to more partnership and more exploits in the Industry.
