Our next feature is no other than, Iwuagwu Chukwudi Bright, one of our Batch A student of The Aba Mastering Footwear Program.

Bright is a young business man, who is into the sales and repair of cameras.

He picked interest in footwear production during the pandemic lockdown and made no delay in nurturing his idea.

Let’s hear his experience at The Footwear Academy.

Hello Bright, please introduce yourself.

Hello, my name is Iwuagwu Chukwudi Bright.

How did you hear about The Aba Mastering Footwear Program?

I heard about the Program from Pastor Nathan’s business leadership Facebook page and got keened.

What motivated you to sign up for the Program?

I sell and repair cameras, so during the lockdown, my business was affected tremendously because events were shot down, there was little or no income flow.

I saw the need to embrace multiple streams of income, so when I heard about the program, I was excited and interested in Footwear production.

As you know, everybody wears a pair of shoe, which makes it a lucrative business.

Interesting, so how was your experience during the training?

My experience at The Footwear Academy was awesome. Mr and Mrs Bentley including Uncle Ben were so good to us.

Their selfless efforts/teachings were so unique. TFA trained us as their own children. I made some footwears of my own while at the Academy.

Awesome, What’s next for you?

I plan to register my own business name to CAC (Mr Bright Enterprise) and afterwards get started.

Could you drop your contact information.

Sure. I can be reached with the number 07065789624.

What’s your advice for young people?

My advice for young people out there is to bend down and learn a skill not minding their qualification because there’s a popular adage that says, what your education can not do for you, your destiny or talent can do it for you.

Thank you for sharing your interesting story Mr Bright. We wish you all the best in your journey ahead.
