Let’s hear his story as he shares his experience at The Footwear Academy.

Hello Lucas, please introduce yourself.

Hello, my name is Lucas Chinemerem Chimezie.

How did you hear about The Aba Mastering Footwear Program?

I saw the advert of the training on LinkedIn and I picked interest.

What motivated you to sign up for The Aba Mastering Footwear Program?

My quest to explore the fashion and design industry intrigued me into signing up.

Tell us your experience during the training.

I’ve got lots of mind thoughtful experience, which the founder/co-founder (Mr Bentley and Mrs Chidinma) and the entire TFA team contributed to.

Apart from the practical classes, the soft skills that was taught to us, gave me more insight to Enterpreneurial preparedness for the labour market.

I was really happy at how much I had learnt and the skill I acquired.

Interesting, So what’s next for you?

I hope to harness the labour market with my brand, having successfully launched my business name and simultaneously benefitted from the Nigeria Federal Government grant. This is just a stepping stone towards achieving my goals.

Awesome, Do drop your contact information also.

Sure. I can be reached with the phone number 08082082013.

What advice do you have for young people?

Anything that is worth doing, is worth doing well. Make hay while the sun shines.

Thank you Lucas for your time. You have indeed stepped up your game. We wish you success and pray you achieve all your goals.
