Hello Victor, nice to have you here. Please introduce yourself.

Hi, my name is Victor Chibuike Akuma.

How did you hear about The Aba Mastering Footwear Program?

I heard about the progarm from a friend who partook in the training as well.

Given that you’re a writer, what motivated you to sign up for The Aba Mastering Footwear Program?

It has been my dream to learn a new skill, time and the wherewithal have always been my problem, but because of Covid-19 break coupled with the opportunity provided by The Footwear Academy to learn at no cost, made my dream a reality.

Tell us your experience during the training.

I would say the training was all worth it. Learning a new skill and meeting new faces at The Footwear Academy is one of the good things that happened to me this year.

Sir Ben, Aunty Chidinma and everyone else who put us through the classes were all awesome.

It felt like dream come true been able to make my own footwear.

What’s next for you?

I’m putting all I have learnt into practice already and I want to be the next rated in this industry. I made these shoes after the training.

I also have my brand Logo already.

I’m glad you have it all figured out already. Why don’t you drop your contact information too.

Of course. My mobile number is 08174995105

Awesome, What advice do you have for young people?

In as much as academics is the way out of ignorance in the contemporary society, having a skill to support your certificate make you even more hopeful of a better future.

Wow, it’s been a great interactive session with Victor. I love his last line of advice to young people, so make hay while the sun shines.
