Shoe dyeing is another great hack to use in the recycling of worn out or faded shoes. The beautiful thing about shoe dyes is they can be easily gotten and one can choose to dye their unwearable shoes to any colours of their choice. Note that the dye used must be able to penetrate the shoe material you would like to dye as well as be water resistant and be long lasting. To spruce up the look, you can make use of sequins, glitter, jewels or flat back crystals (rhinestones). These are used to give those scruffy heels some bling that it’s been missing. PVA glue would also be required for this process to hold fast the shiny stones.
